Built for a safer
Roblox community.

SafeAdd exists because Roblox players, especially younger ones, often lack enough context to make safe decisions when interacting with strangers.

Why SafeAdd exists

SafeAdd came from something personal.

During the pandemic, I started playing Roblox and made a group of online friends. At the time, I thought they were genuinely good people. I spent hours with them every day. I gave up real time with my family just to be online with them. Over time, I got attached.

One of them told me she had feelings for me. We only knew each other through games, never in real life, and we lived in different countries, so it already felt strange. She told me she was around my age, and I tried to make sense of it. But when I rejected her, things changed. She became manipulative. She acted hurt, made me feel guilty, and pushed me into apologizing and reassuring her, like I had done something wrong just for being honest.

Deep down, I felt that something was off.

Later, I found out she had been doing the same thing to other people online. And then I found out who she really was. I was 23. She had told me she was 25, and I had even told myself that a two year age gap was completely fine. But the truth was, she was actually a 50 year old woman with two children.

I was shocked. And honestly, embarrassed too, because I had even mentioned her to my friends. I was lucky that I stayed cautious. But not everyone gets that lucky.

There are probably tens of thousands of people like that online, maybe more, and situations like this happen every single day. SafeAdd exists because I wanted to do something about it. I wanted to build something that could help people stay safer, spot red flags earlier, and protect this community from the kind of deception that too often gets ignored.

That's the motivation behind SafeAdd.

We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox. SafeAdd is an independent community tool, built and maintained separately.

Our principles

These are the commitments we hold ourselves to.

Anonymity first

All submitted signals are private. We deliberately show aggregated results, never individual reports, so no one is publicly named or targeted.

Verified community

Only players who have verified their Roblox identity can submit signals. This keeps the database resistant to fake accounts and coordinated manipulation.

Community, not court

SafeAdd shows trends and patterns, not verdicts. We are not a punishment tool. The goal is to help people make more informed decisions, not to publicly shame anyone.
